The museum of the National Bank proposes a unique presentation about money: its history, its role in the economy, its different forms, its forgeries, its future, its cultural and international dimensions, etc. Money is a priviliged witness of our time, its conflicts and economical crises, its periods of peace and prosperity. The National Bank tells the history of money, from here and elsewhere, from yesterday to today. The money we hold in our hands, the money we don't see, stone and salt, metal or paper, bank money or electronic money.
