Belgium in a nutshell!

© Bitc-JPLVandewiele
Belgium is the country of beer (Beer, a Delightful Taste), chocolate (The Chocolate Makers), and comic strips (BELGIAN CENTRE FOR COMIC STRIP ART - CBBD (BRUXELLES)). It is hard not to fall for the charms of our kingdom (Royal Brussels). Warm-heartedness, surrealism (Brussels, Surrealism in Everyday Life), creation and especially our entrepreneurship only begin to characterize us.
Our country has a central location in the heart of Europe (EUROPEAN COMMISSION (BRUXELLES), COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION (BRUXELLES)), and has been Burgundian, Spanish, Austrian, French and even Dutch throughout time! That is why visitors find so many things of beauty: art, gastronomy, architecture( Architectural Heritage) and of course our nature (Sports and Relaxation).
So, don't hesitate to visit our two vibrant, colourful and cosmopolitan regions: Brussels (Brussels, City of the Arts), Capital of Belgium and of the Belgian French-speaking Community and the Capital of Europe, and the south of the country, visitor friendly Wallonia (A few words on Wallonia), which includes the Belgian Ardennes (And what about the Ardennes? ...).
Belgium is also an important European nightlife scene (Nightlife ): "hip" youngsters and other night owls specialised in the "latest trends" love to come here.
That is why our small federal country, where the European institutions are located, is undoubtedly the perfect tourist destination!
